Marriage license logistics

• You will need to obtain a marriage license through Oakland County prior to the date, June 23, 2024. Marriage license details are below

• More information about the Oakland County Marriage License Application process can be found HERE. Please read this page thoroughly to ensure you meet all requirements and follow all directions for obtaining a marriage license.

• You can apply for a marriage license online, or in person at either the Pontiac or Troy location. Walk-in appointments are available, but you are encouraged to book an appointment online.

• Oakland County Online Marriage Application OR Schedule an appointment to apply in-person 

• Please allow plenty of time - it takes three days to process an online application and marriage licenses are not available for pickup on weekends or holidays.

• PLEASE NOTE: We will ask that you submit proof of Marriage License obtainment by Monday, June 18th. If you do not have a marriage license by that date, you will risk losing your spot to someone on the waitlist.

If you do not have a marriage license by that date, you will risk losing your spot to someone on the waitlist. Should your wedding application not be accepted your payment will be refunded in full.
